David was the Chief Operating Officer of Upward Wealth, doing business as BrightUp (https://www.getbrightup.com), a fintech platform intent on democratizing wealth-building and well-being. BrightUp’s differentiated underwriting algorithm fuels Compassionate Capital, which, when paired with Content and Coaching, helps users to more mindfully become financially healthy and holistically wealthy. Prior to joining BrightUp David held various executive level positions in operations and procurement in a wide range of industries including technology / IT services; federal, state, and local government services; financial services; transportation services; healthcare; educational services; consumer products; aerospace; and telecommunications. David has held leadership roles developing, growing and managing business units with revenues in excess of $400MM and more than 2,500 professional colleagues. He has directed several due diligence reviews and successfully negotiated, closed, and integrated five acquisitions valued at over $100MM. David has extensive profit and loss, turnaround, and business transformation experience.
David is a graduate of Stanford Graduate School of Business where he received his MBA. He also received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
