Role: Oversees and manages the organization’s educational programs and initiatives, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission and effectively serve the intended audience.
Ron is an author, educator, record producer and performing artist. He was a band, orchestra and jazz ensemble director for thirty years in public schools in Maryland. He has produced over forty recordings for commercial release including six of his own. During his time teaching, his groups won numerous Grammy Signature Schools awards and Ron was honored by SBO Magazine and Down Beat magazine for excellence in teaching.
Ron has written several articles on jazz, music production and music education and is the author of the books Quick Reference for Band Directors, Recording Tips for Music Educators, Quick Reference for Band Directors Who Teach Orchestra and Quick Reference Guide for Band Directors Who Teach Jazz which are being used as text books for band directors and music educators at colleges and universities across the US. He is a Vandoren of Paris Performing Artist, a Conn-Selmer Performing Artist and writes several articles for Vandoren’s website.
